Oh, you can see the sadness in her eyes now. This is heartbreaking. (( )) Hugs to you both.

Moxie,
The cat you/we rescued has fit in quite nicely.Although she was obviosly a housecat(uses the litter box, sleeps on my bed) she demands to go outside every morning. And I'm not really a cat person, but I do enjoy her presence.Still,I was at a horse show-the gf's two spoiled daughers compete-and tried to entice the barn owner with fre Bo tox for a yearin exchange for taking the cat.No decision yet

Lovely photos of both of them. They're both so pretty. I think about your boy quite often. I hope you are feeling less hurt now.

Best.

Thanks Anne. I still cry far too often, second guess if I could have done something more to help him and miss him terribly.

But luckily with the move, I can keep myself busy and distracted by unpacking boxes. Fighting for my security deposit, organizing the new place.

Sigh, of course I'd much rather be snuggled up with Bentley.

I don't really think it's possible to cry too often. I mean, no, you don't want to become debilitated from the crying... but man, when my girl's time comes? I have no doubt that very few people will understand the depth of the grief. It sounds to me as though you did every single thing you could for him. I hope you don't spend too much time thinking otherwise. Your love for him is very clear.

I'm glad you have distractions. That definitely helps. I wish it wasn't in the form of fighting for your security deposit, but so be it, I suppose!

Also - I wish you well with the moving in and unpacking and decorating and all the rest. Welcome to your new home.
