Ron Nehring Smackdown!
Sweet!
Michelle Malkin has the details.
For those of you who aren’t lucky enough to live in Kalifornia, Ron Nehring is the CA GOP Chair. He is best known for using GOP dollars as his slush fund.
Also, GOP withering in California heat? Or maybe’s it’s just Ron.

From the Politico article:
California Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring argued that voters in districts such as Lungren’s and Calvert’s remain fundamentally conservative and averse to supporting Democrats, pointing to 2008 — a year with a strong wind behind Democratic candidates — as evidence.
“The Democrats know very well that if they couldn’t pick these seats up in 2008, there’s no way they’re making any inroads in 2010,” said Nehring. “The California Republican House members distinguished themselves in that they bucked the national trend favoring Obama and the Democrats.”
Fiddling while Sacramento burns?

Well, based on the number of comments here, I can tell my conservative readers aren’t interested in winning elections.
That’s especially shameful, given 2010, not to mention 2012, with California’s 55 electoral votes.

I am all for winning elections, Moxie. Do you know how to win elections? Yes, Rome is burning around us. But it always is burning. Sacremento burning is just someone elses campfire with marshmellows.

They’ve done it to themselves and having RHINO Arnold in office hasn’t helped. They’ve done more to shoot themselves in the foot than anything the demonrats could have ever done.
Plus it seems that no matter what the demonrats do to ruin this state they keep getting elected. At some point you’d think that people would catch on, but…. no. Just goes to show that reason and logic have no place in the Democratic Party.

If I may interject…the way to effect change (non-Obama style) is to get involved. Lazy, working for a living conservatives have to work harder than their welfare dependent Democratic counterparts, bitching just isn’t enough…school board, water district, city council, assembly, run for something. Ya your not going to win, but neither am I, the point is to elevate the quality of the discussion. Fuck with them. Take my own State Sen Ashburn (Assburn) turncoat Pansie, pantie waste, invertebrate, I have no chance. Thats not the damn point though, I’ll be happy if all I can manage is to make. Don’t despair, attack.
